About Do Charity with Ren Ci

In lieu of our signature Vegetarian Food Fiesta, Ren Ci Hospital has went online since November 2021! We are blessed to have received various sponsored merchandise and food & beverage vouchers for us to fundraise, ranging from delicious food to wellness products and even homewares. If you prefer to buy something for others, we also have options where you can purchase a meal for our residents. All proceeds go towards supporting our delivery of care and services for those in need. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to everyone – it hasn’t been an easy time for all of us, but you have reached deep to continue supporting the work done at Ren Ci. Thank you!

FAQs

1) How does my purchase help Ren Ci Hospital?
All proceeds from the sale of items in our e-shop go towards supporting Ren Ci Hospital’s delivery of care and service for those in need. As the items were donated by our generous sponsors, every dollar you spend helps to fund our spectrum of services for the needy seniors we serve.

2) What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment by Amex, Visa and Mastercard.

3) Can I get tax benefits from my purchases?
Unfortunately, all purchases on the e-shop do not qualify for tax deductions. However, you can make an outright donation on our Giving.sg page at www.giving.sg/ren-ci-hospital/do_charity_with_ren_ci or PayNow to receive tax benefits!

4) What are shipping times like?
Shipping times depend on the item that you purchase:

a. Items will take three to five working days for us to pack and ship them out.
b. Food vouchers will be sent to you via email (unless otherwise stated) once your payment is processed.


5) What delivery service are you using?
The delivery service depends on the item that you purchase:

a. Items will be delivered by our own in-house drivers and other delivery service providers.
b. Food vouchers will be sent to you via email (unless otherwise stated) once your payment is processed.

6) Can I select a delivery time slot?
We’re afraid that as our delivery personnel are limited right now, we are unable to offer specific delivery time slots and seek your kind understanding.

7) Can I self-collect my item?
Self-collection is applicable for selected items only*. You may email us at fundraising@renci.org.sg with your Name, Order ID and contact number if you wish to arrange a self-collection timing.

*Refer to individual product page for the terms and conditions.

8) The item arrived damaged/unusable. What can I do?
We do our best to ensure the item is in good condition before we send them out. In the event that your item arrived damaged or unusable, please contact our colleagues at fundraising@renci.org.sg and we can either replace or change to another item of the same value if your selected item been sold out.

9) Do you offer a return or exchange policy?
As the items in the e-shop are sold for charity, they are non-exchangeable or refundable unless they are damaged/unusable upon receipt. Please contact us at fundraising@renci.org.sg if your item is damaged/unusable and we can either replace or change to another item of the same value if your selected item been sold out.

10) Is there warranty for the electronics?
No, warranty is not offered for the electronics.

11) How do I redeem the voucher I purchased?
A digital voucher (unless otherwise stated) will be emailed to you after your purchase. Please bring it down to the respective vendor and show it to them to redeem your item.

12) Why can’t I select the time slot I want for the Flowers & Offerings?
Offering of Flowers and lighting of candles will be on the 1st and 15th day of the Lunar Calendar. No time slot as the offerings will be throughout the day.
